Parsec controller support software#
Solaris-specific proprietary software where no open source analog or public source code exists. Most local-only privilege escalation issues. We specifically cannot provide patches for these situations: Telnet, rsh, rlogin, and rexec (though customers should really migrate these to SSH, since these are unencrypted services anyway).Note that this list covers (more than) all default Solaris network services: Here is a list of issues for which PARSEC can provide internally sourced non-Oracle replacement patches for critical vulnerabilities. We have the expertise to create a limited set of new base packages for Solaris, so long as a code-fix is freely available, to cover these issues and provide a real fix to older Solaris systems.

These patches can be provided for key services such as Secure Shell, which usually cannot be disabled as a workaround for a critical flaw. If you are faced with this or a similar issue, we can provide key fixes and patches that may not be available for end-of-life versions which have reached what Oracle calls "Sustaining Support". If you wanna add me on Parsec send me a DM and we can exchange friend id details (it is like discord with your username#123456 etc).Īny Parsec/local/couch co-op gamers here? what is your weapon of choice for inputs when you get a group game going on I am keen to know.Vendors typically stop producing patches for end-of-life operating systems, even for critical issues. So yeah recommend me some good Xbox One controller stuff or go wild and recommend a good third party controller to be used on PC. The usage will be mostly local multiplayer stuff so a steering wheel or other inputs won't really work (no DDR gameplay imho so no DDR mat involved unfortunately lol who remembers those PlayStation 1 days haha). Was thinking of other platforms controllers such as Nintendo stuff but I think Xbox One is the best for now unless anyone can recommend a better option.
Parsec controller support Ps4#
So I am looking for recommendations for pc controllers and have decided on getting an Xbox One Controller mainly because it is easier/more convenient to connect one and use with a PC than say a PS4 which requires fiddling with Dual Shock programs and etc. With many users naturally it is beneficial to have a controller as input because you can only have so many players using one keyboard/mouse I mean some games can use only one keyboard or mouse but most require other inputs such as controllers to facilitate multi-play. So with multiple other users all connecting to one host for local play you essentially make couch co-op or local multiplayer online but it is on one machine which is the host so you have to think like you are physically there and there is only a limited amount of buttons/space/inputs you can use with say 3 people connecting via keyboard/mouse. So recently got introduced to Parsec which is basically a client to host remote desktop program that allows you to host your pc or connect to someone else's pc up to I think a total of 8 users maybe more mostly used for gaming but have seen people do other stuff like host creative sessions and etc honestly the sky is the limit it is just a neat handy tool.
